CS:GO Quick Tips: How to Open More Cases

Opening cases is one of the most exciting features of CS:GO. It is always fun to spin the wheel and get one of the beautiful skins from the box. But cases are not that easily accessible, and players run out of them quickly. So the question pops out, ยซHow can I get more cases in CS:GO?ยป Luckily, In this article, you will find multiple tips on how to get more cases without investing much effort.

But for the players who have already opened a bunch of cases, we have a special offer. There is a tool used to transform a couple of cheap skins into expensive ones. So if your inventory is full of irrelevant items, go ahead and learn about CS:GO skin upgrade here.

Tip 1 โ€“ Play More Games

Every experienced CS:GO player knows that the game features a random drop system. Thus, when the game ends, everyone can get a lucky drop: skins, cases, or stickers.

So if you enjoy playing the game and donโ€™t launch CS:GO just for case-opening, you can start playing a couple of extra games daily. It shouldnโ€™t necessarily be competitive matches, as drops can occur even in public games. But be aware that the chance of getting one more will dwindle since you get a drop.

Tip 2 โ€“ Pay Attention to Cases You Buy

If you approach case opening a little more seriously, you have probably already bought a few. But do you know that all the CS:GO cases have different prices? So if you want to open more cases, it is logical to purchase the cheapest ones. But that is applicable only if you donโ€™t chase particular skins when opening CS:GO cases and just do It for fun.

Tip 3 โ€“ Trade is the Key

There are plenty of CS:GO players who have cases in their inventory and just do nothing with them. And they will be untouched in their bag unless you want to offer something for them: for example, some skins you donโ€™t need. Sometimes you can get lucky, and players will give you cases for free.

If you donโ€™t know where to look for players to trade cases with, you have a couple of options:

  • Use trading websites. Those are internet resources where players post their trading proposals so that others can notice those and reply. Thus, you can create your own proposal, and some players will definitely give you a message;
  • Find players in games. When you get into CS:GO matches, you are put in a room with random people. The chance of them having a case they can trade with you is very high. So go into playersโ€™ profiles and check their inventories for the presence of the case. Thus, if you see a couple, donโ€™t be shy to offer them a deal;
  • Ask your friends. Everybody who plays CS:GO has a couple of friends who enjoy the game too. So you can ask them if they have a couple of cases they want to give away or trade.

But besides some free cases, you can get with trading, you can also obtain free skins. It sounds like a fairytale, but some CS:GO case-opening websites give away skins from time to time. Learn more about this here.

Tip 4 โ€“ Wait if You Want to Open New Case

CS:GO trade market has a pretty interesting economy that is constantly changing. And one of the main principles is a surge in prices on new items. Thus, this rule is also applicable to the cases. So if you see a release of the new box, donโ€™t hurry to buy it. Each next hour, the price will drop. And after a couple of days, the case will cost less than a dollar. But keep In mind that the prices for the skins inside the case are also getting lower with time.

Tip 5 โ€“ Take Advantage of Non-Valve Resources

The internet is full of different case-opening websites. These platforms are always trying to attract new clients by devising interesting bonuses and promotions. The one that interests us the most is the free case. Yes, you heard it right, some websites are ready to give you a free case that you can open without a key. But if you want to transfer a skin, you get to your Steam account, and you will often need to make some deposit.
