Announced earlier today, AMD will be officially making available its AMD Ryzen processors on March 2nd but that date will only see the appearance of AMD’s high-end 8-core processors targeting the HEDT market. The Ryzen 7 line will debut on March 2 with official pricing already official and pre-orders open in key partner retailers. Philippine pricing for AMD Ryzen have also been announced with MSRP as follows:
- Ryzen 7 1800X – PhP 27,000
- Ryzen 7 1700X – PhP 21,000
- Ryzen 7 1700 – PhP 17,500
This leaves the mainstream stack still uncontested with Intel’s Kaby Lake still waiting on the impending arrival of the Ryzen 5. As seen in the image above courtesy of TechPowerUp, AMD announced during their press event that the AMD Ryzen 5 lineup will be available at Q2 2017 with the entry tier Ryzen 3 debuting at the second half of the year. This means only the Ryzen 7 will be available during launch and the consumer battle will rage on sometime between April to June. Computex could be a hot battleground with AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 products making their debut during that period but no exact official date has been revealed together with pricing.

kailan po ang H2? waiting to build my first rig using R3 tight budget kasi balita ko R7 igpu ni R3 same sa A12 at around 2k + mobo nya supp ddr4 +rgb stock cooler at pwede crossfire.
H2 = June to December… pero tancha ko June yan, latest na August… sobrang tagal na kasi nun maiiwan ung mga low end. pero as of right now walang Ryzen with integrated graphics announced. May word about possible H2 APU Zen+Vega APU but for now, Ryzen is purely CPU lang
