AMD will be reportedly shipping only a few thousand units of their mainstream Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card during launch. This continues AMD’s GPU shortage situation which is not helped by NVIDIA also suffering their own shortage but is still more wholly capable of providing a steady stream, albeit with prices very hard to predict and for many, to accept.
Igor’s Lab is reporting based on information sourced partners that Europe in particular will only be receiving a limited amount of the Radeon RX 6700 XT, estimated to be around the few thousands.
AMD has reportedly managed to book an open slot with TSMC later this which should help increase their inventory when that time arrives.
