We’ve recently shared a study from the UK citing the positive benefits of multi-tasking-intensive games like Starcraft II in improving the cognitive abilities of people and around the same time, Inquirer.net has posted an interview with the topnotcher from the recent med licensure examinations headlining that the 25-year-old Blake Warren Ang played Starcraft and DOTA while taking review classes. Other than stress relief though, the topnotcher doesn’t cite any improved cognitive functions from his prior gaming activities but being a Starcraft bro, I’ll assume he did.
