ASUS Philippines recently held a technical seminar to introduce its new lineup of Republic of Gamers (ROG) branded notebooks and PCs.
First in the list is ROG G501 slim gaming laptop armed a GTX 960M and Intel Core i7 processor making it ideal for gaming as any ROG branded product should be. ASUS boasts its Hyper Cool technology on the ROG G501 to keep the notebook running on top condition. The ROG G501 features a 15.6″ full HD screen and comes in at only 20.6mm thickness and weighs at 2.06Kg. A red backlit keyboard complements the red bezel accents around the screen for a really aggressive look. The ROG G501 feature set is rounded out with support for PCI-e X4 SSDs, onboard Thunderbolt support and SonicMaster audio to complement the i7-4720HQ CPU and GTX 960M GPU with up to 4GB VRAM.
Second is the ROG G551 aimed at more discerning enthusiasts and gamers with a Core i7 processor under the hood together with GTX960M. Like the G501, it also boasts a full HD screen with support for up to three external displays for maximum productivity and SonicMaster Premium for better audio.
Lastly is the G20 gaming desktop continuing the legacy of the mini gaming desktops for ASUS ROG. This 12.5 liter system is baked with core i7 4th-gen CPU drawing as low as 10w during idle and runs at around 22db. VGA duties are handled by a GTX745 graphics card and is thermally managed by a whisper-quiet cooling system venting heat along the sides.
