Debuted last January at CES 2023, ASUS’ duo of ROG flagship gaming monitors for both high-res gaming as well as esports is finally starting to come together. One of the two monitors announced is getting a release window with the ROG Swift PG27AQDM OLED set for launch in the Philippines at the second quarter of 2023. No local Philipine pricing for the ROG Swift PG27AQDM OLED has been announced as of yet.
The ROG Swift PG27AQDM OLED is a 27″ QHD resolution (2560×1440) with a 240hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response time.
The display is G-SYNC compatible.
ROG offsets burn-in by implementing cooling solutions on the internal components on top of optimized power delivery to reduce issues as well as increase potential brightness and ultimately, reduce immediate onset of permanent burn-in. ASUS ROG also implements uniform brightness on their panel to offset ABL (auto brightness limiter) issues where the panel goes dark in areas outside of a large bright area and matches the brightness for the entire screen, dimming the light area.
Top-tier OLED gaming
To enhance OLED longevity, the Swift OLED PG27AQDM employs a custom heatsink for heat-generating components and a redesigned internal layout to improve cooling. The monitor features optimized internal airflow and larger top air vents for superior heat dissipation. This design allows for an average temperature 5% lower than comparable monitors while delivering 17% higher peak brightness than the previous ROG OLED display.
Intelligent voltage optimization maintains consistent luminance for each pixel by controlling the voltage applied to it. ROG collaborated with the panel manufacturer to establish the relationship between OLED brightness, voltage level, and operational temperature. A smart algorithm tailored for the panel optimizes voltage based on temperature changes, ensuring luminance uniformity across the OLED panel.

Premium specs and looks
The monitor delivers exceptional HDR performance and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. With a 99% DCI-P3 gamut, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, and true 10-bit color depth, the Swift OLED PG27AQDM ensures extraordinary color performance. It can display the deepest black hues alongside high perceptual brightness.
Featuring a sleek, futuristic design, the Swift OLED PG27AQDM includes a tripod socket on the top of the monitor for mounting devices such as webcams. It also offers a range of connectivity options, including one DisplayPort™ 1.4 port, two HDMI® 2.0 ports, and a USB hub.
Pricing and Availability
The ROG Swift PG27AQDM OLED scheduled to hit store shelves in the Philippines by Q2 of 2023. No local Philipine pricing ROG has been announced as of March 2023.
