Back2Gaming’s Video-Making Contest and USB Giveaway

As many of you already know, we’re currently holding a contest and giveaway over at our Facebook fanpage but for those not aware yet here’s the lowdown.

Back2Gaming in cooperation with Kingston Technology Inc. brings to you our 2Hot2Handle Video-making contest and DT Micro Giveaway. The rules and mechanics are as follows:

You guys already know that we are psychotic narcissistists hell-bent on ridding the world of game-o-phobia old people have for games. But right now we won’t discuss our advocacy here, what we will discuss is our contest that’s 2 hot (even for us manry men) to handle.

So without further delay, Back2Gaming in cooperation with Kingston Technologies Inc. is calling out to everybody out there to show your creative and wacky side with our 2 Hot 2 Handle Video contest.

Rules are simple, create a short video showing what you will do to get these prizes. We don’t want you to create a slideshow of your ideas, DO THEM! And catch them on video. Possible entries include:

– Yourself performing awesome feats
– In-game display of your superior gaming skills
– Stop-motion animation
– Skits
– You talking us into giving you this prizes

Acceptance of entries will begin at May 4, 2012 up to the end of May. You have 4 weeks to show us how much you want these prizes and be as creative as you can. Contest ends on June 4, 2012.

Winners will be decided by a panel of the Back2Gaming staff and will be scored based on the following criteria:

Theme: What would you do to win these prizes?
(Yes, that’s the theme… so simple)

– Craziness
– Originality
– Creativity
– Adherence to Theme
– Number of views (minimum view requirement: 500)
– Number of likes
– Quality
– Integration of Kingston logo or product in video.

Each entry will be given points for each criteria and the person who accumulates the most after the deadline will win. Winners will receive the following prizes:

1st prize: 
– Kingston V+200 90GB Solid-state drive
– Kingston 16GB Quad-channel DDR3-1600 RAM Kit 
– Razer NagaHEX Action-RPG/MOBA Gaming Mouse

2nd prize: 
– Tt eSports Shock Spin HD surround headset
– Tt eSports Dasher Speed Edition mousepad autographed by White-Ra 
– Tt eSports jejecap (lol)

Participants are required to like the Kingston Blog Fans Club (for verification purposes, participants are also asked to comment on their post with instructions provided here:http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=351079601616797&set=a.231976190193806.58304.226349237423168&type=1&theater) and Back2Gaming pages.
Winners will be announced 3 days after the closing of the contest and will be contacted via PM or email.

Guidelines:
– ALL Entries should be uploaded via Mediafire.com (not youtube) and send the link to contest[at]back2gaming[dot]com so that we will upload them to the Back2GamingYT page

– Only Philippines residents can join this contest (Sorry guys, hopefully we can do a contest that’s open to our international fans as well *wink wink*)
Maximum of 2 entries per participant but only 1 entry can win

– In case of a tie: OVERTIME:

– The tied participants will send a 1-minute video of themselves dancing to Justin Beiber’s latest single, Boyfriend. (THIS ONLY MEANS YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR A-GAME WHEN YOU’RE DOING YOUR ENTRIES). Best video wins (A++ GAME FOR THIS ONE)

– Provincial winners (and those areas that we ourselves can’t reach) will have to pay for the shipping of the prizes. We will coordinate with you privately for that

Rules and mechanics will be finalized in the first day of submission. Back2Gaming and Kingston Technology can and will change the rules unless stated final.

Okay you lot! If you’ve been itching to get your hands on an 8 Gig USB but somehow can’t seem to get one, we are giving away three (3), YES THREE, 8GB DataTraveler Micro USBs to three lucky people who will share this image on their wall accompanied by this message (and tagging back2gaming as well):
