Cyberpunk 2077 was arguably the most anticipated PC game release in the last 3 years and it has made a significant mark in history as one of the most polarizing title as well. According to Steam reviews, majority of PC gamers love it but in our experience, last-gen console playability is nothing short of disastrous. Sony has to resort to removing the game entirely on the digital store to stop further complaints.ย Ultimately, people are blaming nobody else but the developers, CD Projekt Red.
The 5-minute video above shows CDPR co-founder Marcin Iwiลski the current status of Cyberpunk 2077 as well as owning full responsibility for the state of the game. He stated that CDPR is fully committed to the quality and improvement of Cyberpunk 2077. He goes to state the planned DLCs similar to Witcher 3 but also mentions in passing that management decisions led to what caused the problems for the game.
Detailing their roadmap, Iwiลski states that they’ll focus on bug fixes and performances issues first and will be followed up by a big update in February.ย A free DLC will follow once the game reaches the point which CDPR desires in terms of the current build status.
Iwiลski also mentions that the next-gen PS5 and XBX|S will be released around H2 of 2021.
