Over Php1,000,000 in total prize is at stake as well as the honor of being crowned the CrossFire Philippines National Champion of 2018 is at stake this weekend when the best in the Philippines battle it out and go on to play for the CFS 2018 Grand Finals to be held in China.
Total of 17 teams from across the Philippines will be present to compete in this 2-day tournament. Opening up with a group stage to be held in Pacific CyberCafe in Manila and the top 8 teams will then proceed to the playoffs. The CFS2018 playoffs will be held in double-elimination format where the top 8 teams will be joined by the CrossFire Elite League Season 2 champions as part of their winning incentives.
The playoffs and national finals will be held in SM Aura premier in Taguig. All eyes are on this year’s competitors as CrossFire fans hope to see the Philippines in the global finals once again where they will be met with top talents from China, Brazil, Vietnam, North America, Europe, Egypt, Indonesia, Russia, and Latin America. All hoping to dethrone the reigning and defending 7-time champion global champions from China.
The CFS 2018 Grand Final will be the 7th edition of the CFS, the most prestigious esports tournament based on CROSSFIRE. CROSSFIRE is one of the most played online FPS Game in the world, with 660 million registered players and 8 million concurrent users. Moreover, the CFS 2017 Grand Finals received a viewership of 38 million during the tournament.
