AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, previewed their upcoming Radeon Navi GPU based on the new 7nm RDNA architecture. The RDNA Architecture promises up to 1.25x performance-per-clock and up to 1.5x performance-per-watt, showing the efficiency lf the 7nm process.
The preview showed an AMD Radeon RX 5000 Series running Strange Brigade against the Nvidia RTX 2070 GPU. Su also announced that the Radeon RX500 family Navi GPUs are the world’s first PCIE 4.0 enabled graphics card. The Radeon RX 5700 was paired with the Ryzen 7 3800X to showcase the capability of PCIE 4.0.
