We’ve recently received a previous version DeskMini X300 from ASRock but COMPUTEX 2023 saw ASRock expanding their mini PC portfolio with a newer line-up featuring the latest CPU and platforms from both Intel and AMD.
The main highlight of the mini PC showcase was their new DeskMeet and DeskSlim lineup featuring socket AM5 CPUs which brings Ryzen 7000 series CPU to their mini PC lineup.
The DeskMeet is ASRock’s largest mini PC offering but features more power than previous models and allows use of a standard ITX graphics card. It also uses a beefier cooler and a larger power supply to support its performance offering. The demo unit features a Ryzen 5 7600 CPU with an ITX Radeon GPU and is running off a 500W PSU.
For those looking for something more compact, the DeskSlim from ASRock is a slimmer version of the DeskMeet with a smaller footprint. Perfect for business or low-profile applications.
On display are ASRock’s other exisitng mini PC models such as the other DeskMinis and the very compact Jupiter very, very mini PCs, in contrast to its namesake which is the largest planet in the solar system.
