Kingston has been primarily a consumer brand for the most part but they have served the data center market as well as embedded device market for a good while now. In this last part of our coverage of Kingston’s #COMPUTEX2023 suite, we have their data center highlights as well as samples of what devices Kingston’s embedded memory and strorage solutions land on.
With memory as their core business, its no surprise Kingston makes their way to even the most advanced of servers. Kingston shows off this server board packed with Kingston RAM and a socket full of bent pins. Thankfully its only a demo unit.
But also installed in this unit is Kingston’s new datacenter SSD, the DC600M. Designed to deliver stable performance with a full write cycle (1 DPWD) for 5 years, this drive is meant to last.
Kingston enterprise storage also includes encrypted storage as well as high-endurance storage for extreme applications like edge systems and remote monitoring systems. The Kingston IronKey keypad version features integrated security which allows secure data storage and data destruction should anyone try to bruteforce the drive security.
Lastly we have the smart device showcase where we find some of the devices where Kingston lands in. They’re not advertised as having Kingston memory or storage but know full well that devices like drones, smart watches, dashcams, etc. can have Kingston memory on them for the ultimate reliability.
