Serious Game Giveaway for Serious Gamers

One of the best ways to convince people to stop using illegal copies of games is to let them experience what it’s like to play a legit copy of a game. The first and obvious advantage of using a legit copy is it’s the right thing to do. You also don’t have to worry if the “bug” you are encountering was intentionally made by the developer to fight piracy. Free games can help gamers on a tight budget get started on their journey to PC gaming without piracy.

The nice folks at Croteam gave us 3 Steam game codes for Serious Sam 3: BFE which is a fast-paced but challenging first-person shooter. The game supports Linux which is great news for those who cannot or do not want to spend for a legit copy of Windows 10 Home @ PhP 7,299. In addition, it was also recently updated to support Vulkan which we have found to improve frame rate by almost 50%.

To win a free copy of Serious Sam 3: BFE, just do the following using the Rafflecopter app.

  1. To be fair, though, whoever cracked these games were very good ‘cos the people I personally know never bumped into *any* of these anti-piracy features with their pirated copies, so they weren’t really that effective. I think the most effective anti-piracy solution so far was Denuvo, but pirates managed to crack it eventually.

What made me turn away from piracy was mainly Steam sales and the fact that most of the games I like are cheaper on Steam. Haha! But not everyone is fortunate enough to have a decent Net connection at home that they can afford.

Deterring piracy isn’t enough. There needs to be a long-term solution.
