Creative Labs, the folks behind the Sound Blaster brand, have started a mall roadshow featuring with their gaming-oriented products at the forefront. Located on the fifth floor of the SM North Annex, the modest, but decked out demo space features a demo station running games such as Valve’s Half-Life 2 and Criterion-developed Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. And if PC gaming isn’t quite your thing, they also have a PS3 running Battlefield 3 for the public to try out.
Both setups are wired to Creative’s Recon3D external sound card and piped through the Tactic3D Omega for the PC demo station, and the wireless Tactic3D Sigma for the Ps3 setup. For those interested in Creative’s non-gaming audio equipment, there’s a good selection of speakers on hand for testing, too.
We got some hands-on time with the headsets and sound processor at the demo space, which we’ll be talking about in another post. For those of you curious to try out what Creative’s got up their sleeves, do drop by, or if you feel like it’s a little too far away from your neck of the woods, fret not, they’ll eventually be coming to a mall near you.
