The word is out, DC Universe Online is coming to the SEA region with Asiasoft handling dedicated region servers, local customer support, implimenting the free-to-play model, and adding payment methods for game content and microtransactions.
The announcement was released last July 9, 2013 through the DCUO website announcing the deal, it’s due to the current movement of the DC Universe Online Philippines fanpage that I took notice of the news bit.
Other details of the move are as follows:
- You need to create a new account for DCUO SEA
- Release date of is set to Q4
- Asiasoft is currently working on a package for NA/EU server players
- This is only for PC users and no word yet regarding the PS3 version of the game.
- Countries to include in the SEA server are: Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand
