We talked about the many rigs on display during the ASIA LAN PARTY 2015Â and we’re going to feature here today one of the highlights of the events. Spotted at the event was this custom-made Shelby Cobra inspired rig powered by Kingston.
The rig is created by modder Jengki and his theme is a sports-car that reflects his vision and love for the HyperX brand from Kingston which he believes embodies the speed and performance HyperX products.
After many revisions, Jengki decided on a red theme based on the Cobra with the racing stripes to accentuate the build. Extending his build, he even added the Cobra logo and an exposed metallic silver radiator for a touch of realism.
The main highlight of the rig is certainly the engine block comprised of two reservoirs. This really adds a muscle-car feel to the build complete with covered hoses and plain transparent tubing filled with red coolant.Â
The primary components are actually located behind the engine block reservoir and comprises of an ITX motherboard with the GPU mounted sideways for display.
Jengki admittedly had to redo the design a couple of times until he was satisfied and now that we see the final build, we have to say it looks quite great.
