GALAX has introduced its latest RTX 40 GPU, marking the company’s 20th anniversary of operations in China. Although GALAX was established in February 1994, making it 29 years since its inception, the 20th-anniversary milestone specifically celebrates its two decades of business presence in China.
The new GPU features a tri-fan design: two fans on the front and an additional one on the back. This layout mirrors the design seen in NVIDIA’s Founders Edition models, which also employ fans on both sides of the card.
A notable design element is the power connector’s placement, discreetly tucked under an acrylic panel. This design ensures easy accessibility while maintaining a clean aesthetic. The 16-pin power connector is located here, though it’s not visible in the provided renders. A similar design approach has been observed in the Colorful Ultra Z series.
Based on its introduction in China, the GALAX RTX 4090 20th Anniversary Edition isn’t targeting top-tier speed benchmarks, with a GPU boost clock set at 2595 MHz. However, its dimensions are significant, stretching 34.4 cm in length and 6 cm in thickness.
The GPU is set to be released on November 11th, coinciding with the 11.11 Shopping Festival. There are indications that this might be a region-exclusive release, potentially available only in China. It’s important to note that this product is from GALAX’s mainline brand and not part of their Hall of Fame line.
