HyperX showed off its new line of products targeted for console gamers particularly the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch owners. HyperX is revealing the first HyperX branded microSD card for the Nintendo Switch with capacities goingย up to 256GB. The speed rating for the Nintendo Switch standard microSD card is Class 10 at 64GB but Kingston is offering much more with a UHS-I Class 3 card and as mentioned, capacities of up to 256GB.
HyperX also introduces the Savage EXO external SSD which is intended for consoles like the PlayStation and Xbox One. The HyperX Savage EXO uses a USB3.0 interface to connect to consoles and is rated for 500MB/s read and 480MB/s writes.
Another addition to the HyperX console peripheral family is the Cloud Flight, its features 50mm drivers and connects to your system via wireless 2.4ghz headset compatible with both PS4 and PC. The battery life is rated for a maximum of 30 hours and features light-up LED logos on the ear cups.
HyperX’s first stab at the mechanical keyboard market was the Alloy FPS and now they’re offering a new variant of the keyboard featuring RGB lighting. The new HyperX Alloy FPS Pro RGB ditches the Cherry MX switches for Kailh Silver switches to offer a much more competitively priced model. HyperX tells us the Alloy FPS Pro RGB will be much more closely priced to the vanilla Alloy FPS Pro thanks to the swap in switches.
Last up is the new PulseFire Surge gaming mouse with full RGB illumination around the mouse. Featuring a PixArt 3389 sensor, the mouse has a sensitivity of up to 16000DPI. Also in photo is the HyperX Fury extended mouse mat featuring a new surface material for improved durability and looks.
