Inzoi Studio Details Shares System Requirements And Optimization Plans

The developers of inZOI have provided a deeper breakdown of the game’s system requirements and optimal settings, ensuring players get the best possible experience when the game enters early access.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, inZOI features high-quality visuals and complex city-level simulations, which demand powerful hardware to run smoothly. While the minimum and recommended system requirements are already available on the game’s Steam page, the developers have introduced four system tiers along with eight preset options to help players tailor their settings.

Understanding inZOI‘s Performance Factors

The team highlights several key factors that affect performance:

  • Resolution Scaling: Higher resolutions significantly increase GPU workload, with 4K rendering requiring 4x the processing power compared to 1080p.
  • VRAM Usage: As resolution increases, so does the demand for VRAM, which may cause performance bottlenecks.
  • SSD Performance: Faster storage solutions help with reduced loading times, smoother texture streaming, and fewer frame drops during gameplay.

Optimized Settings for Different Tiers

To simplify graphics settings, the developers have introduced two key optimization paths:

  • Better Graphics – Prioritizes visual fidelity at the cost of performance.
  • Better Simulations – Focuses on smoother simulation and gameplay speed, reducing graphical details where necessary.

A video demonstration has also been released, showcasing how different settings impact in-game visuals and performance.

Future Plans for Optimization

The developers reaffirm their commitment to accessibility, stating that they are working on:

  • Automatic settings adjustments to optimize performance based on a player’s hardware.
  • Further optimizations to lower system requirements without sacrificing simulation depth or visual quality.

With early access on the horizon, inZOI continues to refine its performance and accessibility, ensuring that a wider range of players can enjoy its highly detailed simulation gameplay. Stay tuned for more updates as the game nears release.
