Japan Fiesta 2019 aims to showcase the vibrant and lively culture of Japan by making the two-day event ideal for those looking to travel to Japan, interested in the culture, and curious about the food.
Every back-packer knows about Tokyo and Osaka, but the country has a lot of cool stuff to offer tourists. Make sure to drop by the booths of Hokkaido, Tohoku, Niigata, Kyushu, and Okinawa to get special offers and discounts on travel packages offered only at the event! Local tourism booths present at the event include Hokkaido, Central Japan, Okinawa, Tohoku Japan, and the YuzawaTown Tourist Association.
Just like any convention, there will be exhibitor booths which includes Don Quijote – Japan’s largest discount store, Universal Studios Japan – Japan’s no. 1 theme park according to Trip Advisor, Rokko Butter Co., Ltd., JR East, JR Kyushu, and Discovery Japan Photo Wedding where guests can experience a Japanese wedding ceremony while wearing traditional Japanese kimono!
Special guests who will be gracing Japan Fiesta include Pinoy Big Brother 8 comedy tandem FumiYam and Filipino VJ, actor, host, and Japan lakwatsero Robi Domingo. Catch high energy performances by superstar Sarah Geronimo, and the J-idol group, MNL48 – the sister group of Japan’s mega-idol group AKB48.
The event will also be visited by the iconic Pikachu, Japanese drum artists Wakodaiko, and Yo-Yo professional performer, Tomonari Ishiguro also known as BLACK. Semi-pro e-sports players from Japan will also be gracing the event to challenge attendees. Everyone is invited to play the games Puyo Puyo Champions, Winning Eleven 2019, Gran Turismo SPORT, and Tekken 7 at the e-sports area.
Feeling hungry? Guests will surely enjoy a Japanese food crawl and get to taste delicious Japanese food and products from the participating exhibitors Tomochan Ramen, Pocky, House Foods, Kirin, Nippon Premium Bakery, Ikomai and Tochi Desserts, and Yakult.
