Lian Li also going after Thermaltake in Daisy-Chain Fan Connector IP Lawsuit

The recent lawsuit against Phanteks from Lian Li is still heating up but it has now just surfaced that Lian Li is also going after Thermaltake for a similar patent infringment case. The case was filed on the same day as the Phanteks suit.

The claims seems to be rooted on Lian Li’s patent over their fan daisy-chain technology and how its implemented and Phanteks and Thermaltake both infringed on that copyright. Thermaltake has released their own daisy-chainable RGB fans.

Its worth noting that the September 8 filing only had both Phanteks and Thermaltake. It is curious to know if Lian Li is revving up similar claims for other companies but for now only Phanteks and Thermaltake are on their crosshair.
