Roccat Studios decided to bring up the subject of PC gaming’s future once again, something which Razer did which ultimately led to their release of the Razer Blade which up til now is still a hot topic amongst tech reviewers and gamers for its high cost of ownership. Alienware did the same stunt and released the X51 compact gaming desktop. Now Roccat feels the urge to show the world what they think is the “smartest” way of moving forward for PC gaming.
Roccat has setup a microsite named www.isnt-pc-gaming-dead.com for this latest marketing campaign. Immediately noticeable is the ticker on the right which resembles an iPhone which posts feedback from users. Directly below this is a counter suggesting a reveal from Roccat. Whatever it is they’re revealing be it a product or concept, they claim it to be the “smartest” way forward. If that’s a hint of a possible smartphone add-on, we won’t know until 13 days from now. We sure hope Roccat has something good for the PC gaming crowd, with all the hate going around in the gaming scene right now we could use a little sunshine in our lives.
