Its been nearly a year since the Playstation 5 has launched and while gamers are still slow to trickle from the pipe, many gamers want their full gaming experience now. This is primarily spurned by the fact that the PlayStation5 has yet to have its M.2 expansion slot available for use. That changes today with Sony rolling out the September System Software Update, the second major update in the software’s current life cycle. The M.2 feature was recently tested thru a beta update released to a limited userbase.
Other than this, Sony is also listing a long list of updates for the Playstation5, the Playstation 4 and the Remote Play app as well as the PS companion app.
The entire list is in the latest blog post from Sony.
The update will roll out today, if your Playstation is set to receive updates, it should download immediately once the update is available.
