OUT OF THE BOX
The GTX 660ti from Inno3D came in a box with a very nice themed designed of a high powered engine at the front. Like its siblings all came with the usual simple boxed themed design.
At the back side it like the GTX 660 it promotes itself able to drive the hottest titles such as Max Payne 3, The Secret World and Borderlands 2. The card is promising a FASTER, SMOOTHER and RICHER experience like no other along with Direct X 11 compatibility, PCI 3.0 Express interface and 1080p Playback Full HD Compliant. Will it deliver? Let’s take an in-depth look further then…
Opening the box we find the package which contains the Graphics card as well as a DVI to VGA Connector, a 6pin VGA to 4pin Molex converter, the Driver CD and a small manual for Power Supply guidelines.
Once we got the card outside of the protective film we are greeted with a reference design card. This is very similar to the GTX660 we had previously for review. However unlike the GTX660, the GTX 660Ti has the Green NVidia logo besides the Blower Type Cooler while the GTX 660 doesn’t have it for distinguishing purposes besides the sticker that spells GTX660Ti.
The card is a bit small for its size, sporting a black PCB, The addition of a bracket that holds the fan gave it its present size but the PCB itself is quite small. It uses a Dual 6pin as power source. The Card is capable of 3 Way SLI and uses only two slots on your motherboard. Notice that the GEFORCE GTX Logo in green is present which distinguishes it from the GTX 660.
For connectivity it sports of a Dual DVI input, HDMI and a Display Port. Sadly only a DVI to VGA Connector is available in the package.
