Aerocool Dead Silence Cube -Â Exterior
Aerocool ships the Dead Silence Cube in many color variations and window options. Aerocool has sent us the Red edition with a windowed side panel for this review.
Taking the Aerocool Dead Silence Cube of the box, we can see that its quite tall, taller compared to the recent cubes from BitFenix and CoolerMaster.
Aerocool uses a soft coating on its paints and gives the Dead Silence Cube a pastel hue. Now depending on the color you’ve chosen, this may vary. The overall construction is made of sturdy plastic and aluminium but it seems like Aerocool still isn’t going for heavy metal and the feel of the aluminum is a fit flimsy. The case may be intended for LAN parties so the light material is appreciated but the lack of handle doesn’t suggest this.
The windowed side panel has a large windowed cut-out spanning a good portion of the area and giving a clear view of the interior. If you have a large VGA, this will look really good. The colored shell of the DS Cube cascades from the top and flows down the front with almost no visible seam giving it a unibody look. Vents on the front allow circulation from the front.
Pre-drilled holes are available for those looking to go with external cooling.
Aerocool ships the Dead Silence Cube with two top covers. The stock colored cover and a filtered cover for use with top-mounted exhausts. Also at the top are the USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports, audio jacks and power LEDs and buttons.
A handy slide-out filter is installed for the PSU intake vent.

Great jod…..Aerocool!
Great Aerocool new stuff…
GOT ONE!!
Awesome and beautiful case~!!!
Its a quite good case on the actual, seen it on Dyna store but Horizontal mobo for mATX is a big No for me.
Funtionality – not in my taste. horizontal mobo position is good for ITX mobo but not on mATX, because i want to see the whole build in typical vertical position. Coz it’s much nicer on that way. No mesh intake at the front. kinda bulky.
ex cases;
Coolermaster N200 – cheap, sleek and simple case
Bitfenix Prodigy M and Phenom M – Compact, elegant, reverse ATX mobo
Cougar Spike – damn cheap case for budget build
Fractal Arc mini- simple sleek, elegant, could not ask for more (pepsi)
Overall I give this case a 7.5 IMHO
