Look further down below, you’ll see the some more specs of the mouse as well as the compatible operating systems. Flipping over the front, you’ll see the PRIME Z-DW protected by see through plastic. At the left side are the detailed explanations for the Macro Software that is included in the package and the peculiar two mouse wheels present in the PRIME Z-DW.
Opening the package, you’ll see the following: the PRIME Z-DW Gaming Mouse, the CD-Rom that contains the macro software and the manual of the PRIME Z-DW.
PRIME Z-DW Gaming Mouse
The PRIME Z-DW is a mouse of average size, with an ergonomic design that aims to put you hand in a position to give you maximum amount of comfort for the duration of your gaming session. The PRIME Z-DW’s body is made out of hard plastic painted in black, while the palm rest is covered with a rubber red grip. Displayed in the middle is the name of the mouse, “Prime Z-DW”. The heel also lights up, with the behavior and color completely up to the way you program it to be.
One defining feature of this mouse is the presence of two mouse wheels in the middle. The bigger one is the common mouse wheel for scrolling, which also lights up according to the profile of the mouse you have selected. Below is a slightly smaller mouse wheel used to control the volume. Both can be pressed and their functions can also be customized to suit your tastes.
The sides of the PRIME Z-DW are home to many small buttons that are in “prime” position to help you out when gaming or just surfing around by their easy access and almost Zero-Response time thanks to the fact that all their buttons require the smallest amount of force to activate, and that is especially true with the left and right buttons.
The PRIME Z-DW was designed to be a right-handed mouse. The left side is made to house the thumb, thanks to the large space that is big enough for the thumb to rest. While the right side of the mouse is home to two creases for the ring and little finger to rest.
The PRIME Z-DW is a thin, braided cord that provides stability and does not tangle that easily. At the end is the USB interface for the connection to the PC/Laptop.
Software
Also included in the package is the Macro Software to bring out the full potential of the mouse. It has everything that you would want for personalizing the settings of your mouse to suit your taste. The design comes off as professional and important; the things that you need are the only ones displayed. The software is divided into four parts: buttons, sensor, macro editor and settings.
The buttons sector is where you can set the functions of each of the 12 buttons on the mouse, with the exception of the left button which is for the left click. Changing buttons is easy, just click the drop down box associated with the button and it will take you to a dialog where you can choose what function to instill in the button, and it can be anything from keyboard commands to mouse functions and even your own personal macro.
Next up is the sensor section. The sensor section is where you can adjust the speed of your mouse by setting the DPI scaling of each of the 5 levels per profile. This is very helpful if you want to adjust the speed of your mouse on the fly, or you just want to easily change it per game you play, It’s all entirely up to you.
Third is the Macro Editor sector. This is the area where you can create your own macro command and bind them to the PRIME Z-DW. The macro editors is fairly easy to use and can be understood by even those you don’t use macros too often.
The last sector is the Settings sector. This is where you can change the polling rate as well as reset the PRIME Z-DW to factory settings. A great and easy way to start fresh. You can also choose to create a backup of your settings for future reference.
User Experience and Conclusion
To test out the PRIME Z-DW, we used it while playing League of Legends as the fast paced gameplay and the number of actions will let us know the capabilities of the PRIME Z-DW and OSU!, which is a game where mouse movements and timing are very important. The PRIME Z-DW responded very well, as I was able to hit my skillshots with great accuracy and precision. The ability to change DPI on the fly is a very nice function to have, as I was able to adjust the speed in which my mouse moved when the situation called for it. When playing OSU!, I switched to a lower DPI to help me become more precise and was able to hold my own even when the song became fast, thanks again to the ability to switch DPIs instantly. The buttons were very responsive and required little force to activate, and coupled with the ergonomic design of the mouse, made it comfortable for my hand even after playing for more than 5 hours straight already.
Overall, the PRIME Z-DW Gaming Mouse is a championship contender among the other mice in its price range. It’s combination of a design that promotes comfort and stability, while providing the power and top class performance that mice priced much higher would even have a hard time competing with. And couple that with an easy to use software, and the possibilities are endless for this one of a kind mouse. We here at B2G give the SPEEDLINK PRIME Z-DW Gaming Mouse the B2G Silver and B2G Recommended Award.

That pinky and ring finger support looks super comfy. #600mproblems
All in One function, that was nice for the Gamers but the box, Looks like Dragonwar Box style 😀
installed drivers and plugged in when asked, only to find out it doesnt work :(…
The light is on at the bottom though so any ideas?
Yes I did restart and download new drivers if the disks was faulty.
However, I could not stand it, after a few months I have enough – mouse not for the average player, for the player with long fingers, because it is not sensitive – you have to hold it deeply to the wrist otherwise clicking is not effective. We click almost at the very end of the keys otherwise it almost does not react. Unfortunately, the Media employee claimed that it is a stunner, extremely sensitive and has good software (programmable keys). Playing and being late by what I wrote above I lost a lot in games (everyone knows what’s going on). In a word, I threw money away. From now on I do not listen to the advice of those who sell, because they have to sell, especially goods that “do not go” … I will write again – I do not recommend, it’s a pity, cheaper, much better “work” with the hand and react … .
