CONCLUSION
Kingston is most certainly positioning the the HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition as nothing more than a celebratory and commemorative product but this doesn’t stop the guys from Kingston from shelling out and putting some nice touches on this kit. Straight off the gates, the HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition shows how much it has out of the box, easily handing the Avexir Core Series and KINGMAX Nano easy losses in the majority of our tests with both competitors only getting one win each against the HyperX 10th Anniv. modules.
Despite being a redesigned Genesis, the HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition memory module shines by themselves by having a custom-look that is sure to differentiate itself from the rest of the competition. Any Kingston fan looking to have a piece of the company’s history will have a nice selection of kits to choose from ranging from single stick DDR3-1600 up to large 32GB kits of 4. Of course, there’s also the people who just want a nice set of RAM and if you fancy the looks of the HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition memory, then performance is sure to live up to the name if you just need a good set of memory in your system and won’t bother OC’ing much.
We’re certainly pleased with the performance of the Kingston HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition but as a limited edition kit, these babies are a bit hard to come by. Our kit of 4 DDR3-2400 retails for around US$129, pretty much standard pricing for kits of this specs but with the recent fad of light-up DIMMs taking over many will probably ought for those but performance seekers rest assured that Kingston isn’t disappointing anyone with this limited release. We still wish Kingston would’ve used the more prestigious taller heatspreader designs to really set the kits apart.
We give the Kingston HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition Memory our recommendation and Performance crowns. Kingston backs the HyperX 10th Anniv. memories with a lifetime warranty.
