Conclusion
With games getting more and more graphics intensive, a lot of gamers would still want to savor all that graphics offering without burning a hole in their wallets. Sitting right between an HD7850 and HD7790 makes it both a blessing and curse for the Palit GTX650 Ti Boost to contend with both cards with straight-up performance, it manages to come out shining. Let’s break down our scores shall we.
Performance. We’re quite lacking in data here but as it stands, the Palit GTX650 Ti Boost manages to cling on past unplayable and hold its own in a maxed-out HD gaming scenarios which would’ve already killed the GTX650. This alone speaks for how much this card can offer when details are turned down and/or resolution is lower. Overclocking the card also puts it a solid advantage giving it a 2-10% improvement. Above average.
Build Quality. We can certainly diss the shitbrown PCB but at this price point, its irrelevant. The cooler does a good job of taming this card even after voltage is increased and doesn’t create much noise. The plastic shroud has a subtle quality feel to it and doesn’t distract the balance of the interior of a system with any flashy gimmick. Average.
Functionality. The card offers mid-range gamers a chance to enjoy ultra settings in low-resolutions or high-resolutions in high detail giving a good balance of quality and performance for gamers who on a budget. Couple this with NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience application and you get one-click setup for any configuration without messing around with the game settings. Let NVIDIA do the work for you. Excellent.
Bundle. A straight up bundle with all the essentials. Nothing more, nothing less. Average.
Value. At around ₱7,430, the Palit GeForce GTX650 Ti Boost OC sits at a very uncomfortable yet solid spot for undecided consumers. Those wanting an NVIDIA card and don’t want to go the Radeon route would find the GeForce GTX650 Ti Boost a good proposition for 1360×768 up to full-HD resolutions, and if you can settle without maxing out the details, then the card can go a long ways.
In closing, the GTX650 Ti Boost aims to satisfy gamers torn between AMD’s busy product stack. With the HD7770, HD7790 and HD7850 fighting over the same customer, the GeForce GTX650 Ti Boost Edition sits where all those won’t close. That Php7500 mark is a key price point and Palit delivers an excellent pricing for budget consumers foregoing all the fluff and hype materials that top brands to go for. While factory OC’d, the Palit GeForce GTX 650Ti Boost OC still manages to have a bit of headroom for a bit of tweaking for those who want to squeeze out every last drop of performance from this card.

Wow. 7970’s performance got hit on torchlight ii.. Disappointing…
It’s already past 100fps so it’s nothing. A lot of MOBA/A-RPG will sit nicely with this card even on max still.
