The main menu consists of the standard stuff found in most casual games; Play Game, Instructions, and a leader-board. Select Play game to select the level that you want to start from. Tap instructions to know the basics of the game. It is really recommended that you first read the instruction of this game. The Leader-board can only be accessed when logged in to the Apple Game Center. It displays your standing and compares it with the rest of the players that uses Game Center.

Game-play

The instructions for this game almost shows how simple the game-play is. The goal of the game is to help Poo Poo Monkey get to the banana while shooting down the insects and germs that threaten Poo Poo Monkey with the use of his sh…Poop. You can also try to press the enemies yourself, but it will generate a lower score. To advance to the next stage, one must get a high enough score to earn a medal; Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Here is the level selection screen. To unlock more levels, one must finish first the previous level with a score good enough to advance. In the southeast corner of the screen, you will see an option to access the power ups!

Here is the options to disable the ads, and to add banana credits using real cash. I don’t really recommend buy any of these since the ads does not really affect the game-play and the banana credits will come with enough playtime.

The power-ups for this game can be bought by using banana credits. In my experience, the Three Poo Flick is the best here just because you can hit more enemies with one swipe, thus earning you a higher score.

As stated earlier, the game-play for Poo Poo Monkey is very simple. You just have to fling the Poop in the desired location, then if you can hit a target, it will fall. Anything it hits will add to your combo, making your score higher with each addition to your combo. If an enemy manages to hit Poo Poo Monkey, 1 life will be deducted. When your lives run out, its game over. You can also fling the banana to Poo Poo monkey for additional Banana Credits used to buy power-ups! At times, there will be things tied to a parachute that you can fling the Poop at. When it hits them, the shit will have different effects.

This is the screen that appears when you fail to reach the needed score to advance. Since the game does not state the score quota. you just have to play better and hope to get a higher score than this. This was the score that i got when i decided to press the enemies rather than throw sh…Poop at them. Then compare it to this:

Notice the difference in the score tally. This is the score the you can get when you use the power of flaming shit, times three. As you can also see, because of the high score, a gold medal was acquired and I got access to the next level.

Final Thoughts

Poo Poo Monkey is a great addition to your iOS game library, It is really addictive and it also comes with a nice tone that gets stuck in your head if you play it alot. The simple gameplay, combined with the Poo Poo Monkey character will have a chance to click with kids and adults alike. If throwing flaming shit at your enemies sounds good for you, i highly recommend this download. It is also a free app! My only gripe with the game is that it is not as responsive when there are many enemies on the screen. Other than that, it delivers on being a fun filled, addicting game. Highly recommended!B2G_Recommended
