MAFEX’s figures are very accurate, although a bit less durable than SH Figuarts. They are still very much worth the money especially for those who don’t really change their figure’s poses every other day.

The MAFEX Darth Vader is another reason Hasbro should try to improve quality control on their figures. A great figure in its own right despite its flaws, it shows how Japanese toy manufacturers are making good with the Star Wars license. Hasbro still has the advantage in the sheer number of figures it can release per wave, but quality over quantity is going to become a very real issue down the road.
