Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a lot to look forward with the addition of new titles, updates, and a special early access beta for one of the year’s most anticipated games. Here’s a breakdown of what’s coming to Game Pass.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
The big highlight this week is the Early Access Open Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Starting August 30, 2024, players can dive into the beta to experience the new Omnimovement system, explore fresh 6v6 maps, and test out the latest weapons and gadgets. The beta will be downloadable from August 28, 2024, on Xbox consoles, the Xbox app on PC, or Battle.net. In-game rewards earned during the beta will carry over to the full game when it launches, which will also be available on day one with PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.
New Additions to Game Pass
Several new games are being added to the Game Pass lineup, with something for everyone across different genres:
- Atlas Fallen (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 22
The action-RPG Atlas Fallen arrives with the Reign of Sand update, offering new voice acting, a reworked campaign, and a challenging “New Game +” mode. - Core Keeper (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 27
Core Keeper brings an underground crafting and exploration adventure to Game Pass. Players can delve into ancient secrets, build and craft to their heart’s content, and engage in co-op or competitive gameplay. - Star Trucker (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 3
Available on day one with Game Pass, Star Trucker puts players behind the wheel of a rocket-powered big rig as they haul cargo across the ultimate open road—space.
Game Pass Core Additions on August 21
Game Pass Core subscribers will see three more titles added to their library:
- Cities: Skylines – A city-building simulation where players can create and manage their ideal metropolis.
- Control: Ultimate Edition – An action-adventure game known for its surreal story and supernatural elements.
- SnowRunner – A simulation game that challenges players to navigate extreme environments with heavy-duty vehicles.

The following titles will be leaving the Game Pass library soon. Players who wish to keep these games can purchase them at a 20% discount before they’re removed:
