TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) has announced that Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel Corporation, is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at COMPUTEX 2024, set for June 4. Under the banner of this year’s theme, “Connecting AI,” Gelsinger will present Intel’s advancements in next-generation data center and client computing technologies designed to proliferate AI Everywhere. His presentation will focus on making AI technology broadly accessible through highly engineered platforms, secure solutions, and the support of open ecosystems.
Gelsinger’s address is poised to explore Intel’s comprehensive AI portfolio, which encompasses AI-accelerated Intel® Xeon®, Intel® Gaudi®, and Intel® Core™ Ultra processor families. He will detail their role in unlocking new possibilities within data centers, cloud services, and across global network and edge applications. Furthermore, the keynote will spotlight the emergence of the AI PC era, signifying a transformative shift in productivity and creativity paradigms. Another focal point will be the Intel Xeon processors’ remarkable performance-per-watt efficiencies, which enhance server capacity for AI tasks while optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) and promoting power-saving sustainability.
As AI innovation increasingly contributes to the digital economy, potentially impacting up to one-third of the global gross domestic product, Intel’s strategic positioning allows it to support AI deployment across various sectors. The company aims to develop technologies and solutions that enable customers to integrate and effectively utilize AI across all applications seamlessly.
In conjunction with Gelsinger’s keynote, COMPUTEX 2024 will feature an array of speeches from leaders of other global tech behemoths, including AMD, Qualcomm, MediaTek, NXP, Supermicro, and Delta. These presentations will collectively offer insights into the future of the AI ecosystem. COMPUTEX 2024, taking place from June 4 to June 7 at the Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, will focus on six pivotal topics: AI computing, advanced connectivity, future mobility, immersive reality, sustainability, and innovations. The exhibition anticipates the participation of 1,500 exhibitors, showcasing over 4,500 booths.
