COLORFUL’s return to COMPUTEX wasn’t as lit as I’d expected it to be compared to their previous outing but despite that, they had enough to get things back on track, swapping out their industrial black motiff from before to an elegant white showcase this year. Despite graphic partners having a heavy burden of perpetuating an AI marketing slant, COLORFUL managed to only have a couple of AI-focused displays in their booth.
The booth itself comprised of multiple sections focusing on DIY, laptops and special sub-series. We talk about them below.
COLORFUL iGame Series Components
COLORFUL is China’s biggest component brand and specializes in VGAs and motherboards. They’ve been doing it for a while and their products have improved over time. Its also been know that COLORFUL has a habit of releasing commemorative collector’s releases and while it is not a major release, the COLORFUL iGAME LOONG collection is up there with some of their more memorable releases.
Featuring a Year of the Dragon concept, this white and gold themed collection includes a LOONG Edition iGame Z790D5 motherboard, iGame RTX 4080 SUPER and an iGame DDR5 RAM kit.
The Loong Edition collection is quite limited in international availability, and we’ve been asked to inquire about overseas availability which we’ll confirm after the show as per the staff we’ve talked to.
For now, the Loong Edition collection is limited to the Z790 platform and other mentioned items and COLORFUL doesn’t seem interested in developing further especially once the year passes.
COLORFUL’s iGame family is their gaming lineup and comprises of sub-series namely the ULTRA and the VULCAN. Alongside the iGame display are some ITX components from COLORFUL. One thing of note here is that the ULTRA product line on display is the ULTRA W which are special white variations.
Another thing worth pointing is the keyboard under the Vulcan series is a yet-to-be released model. It features the keycaps shown, including the GPU-styled Shift and Backspace ones and the entire blackout sideprinted caps. The LCD was off when we stopped by but they said it displayed various info.
COLORFIRE Meow
We talked about COLORFIRE MEOW products in detail in this article but to quickly sumarize, COLORFIRE MEOW is a fun sub-brand of COLORFUL that offers cat-themed products and features co-branded products as well including a SEGOTEP custom themed case.
COLORFUL Laptops
Various laptops were on display at COLORFUL’s booth. One of their aggressively expanding products, they’re also showcasing their new AI PC featuring their EPOCH software.
More DIY Components and Special Builds
COLORFUL’s booth had a front display of their Neptune PC Build but also included some other special models including LAB series RAM and a custom cooled GPU alongside some other components.
