Hey guys, wanted to share this type of build that players rarely use with Patch 1.5 because of the implementation of diminishing returns for skill power. I am 100% PVE player and my build is solely intent for PVE. So check out my balance build and supportive play style in Tom Clancy’s The Division Patch 1.5.
I am pretty sure that most Division Agents would prefer to focus on Stamina and Firearms and leave Electronics as you get 65k Skill Power even without alloting anything to Skill Power at all. Furthermore, Skill Power and Skills aren’t that great anymore compared to how they were in Patch 1.4. but as a PVE player, I still find that having a supportive/balance player within the team improves the overall game play of all players as long as that player knows what to do.
During the patch 1.4, I am a supportive type of player and I alloted more on Skill Power and Electronics than Stamina and Firepower while keeping the important stats to its optimal numbers like the armor mitigation, talent requirements, and so on but things are different now with Patch 1.5. With the implementation of dimishing return despite removing the cap for the skills, they also have nerfed the skill bonuses which is a bummer for someone who plays as support. Although things are not that bad at all.
Balanced/Supportive Build
How can I say that this is a balance and supportive build? Well, this is what I consider as a balance build. First let me explain my gear sets and bonuses. My main gears are as follows:
Gear Sets:
- Striker: 4/6
- Tactician: 2/6
Guns and Talents:
I mainly use a Custom P416 G3 as my overall weapon of choice thanks to its high damage and decent RPM of 750. My secondary weapon is a Tactical M246 Para. I chose that as my secondary weapon mainly to pair it with a “Tactical Link” skill and the increase damage of its native talent bonus.
- Custom P416 G3 (14.6k/792/61)
- 23% Armor Damage
- Responsive (10% Additional Damage with 10m away from Target)
- Destructive (15% Enemy Armor Damage)
- Provident – (60% Damage Bonus for Last Bullet) I would prefer Ferocious over this but I am not yet lucky enough to get this 3 talent from a Custom P416 G3 Assault Rifle.
- Tactical M246 Para (13.9k/609/110)
- 18% DMG Out of Cover Targets
- Destructive (15% Enemy Armor Damage)
- Competent – (10% DMG Bonus for 15 seconds after using a Skill) Ideal with Tactical Link and Booster Shot First Aid Skill.
- Ferocious (10% Damage against Elite and Named Targets)
Bonuses with Primary Weapon:
- 20% Damage to Elites
- 68% Enemy Armor Damage
- 1,043 Additional Assault Rifle Damage from Gloves
- 25% Stability
- 2% Accuracy
- 17% Crit Chance
- 80% Crit Damage
- 95% Headshot Damage
Survivability:
- Armor: 59.8% Damage Mitigation
- 8% Additional Protection from Elites
- 110k HP
- 10% Skill Haste
