Last weekend, the new Senbatsu members for MNL48‘s second single was announced via a Facebook post.
Brei, Belle, Coleen, Rans, Lei, Mari, Jan and Kay will be joining Ella, Faith, Alyssa, Jem, Gabb, Sela, Abby and Sheki who remains as the Center, will be the second single senbatsu member.
This will be Sheki’s second single as the center, the first being as a result of the General Election last April 28.
According to Sheki, she couldn’t believe that she would still be chosen as the Center Girl. “I feel so blessed that I’m still the Center Girl for this next single. I’m very happy that there are still some people who believe in me and my capabilities to inspire through my talent and of course, our beautiful music. As the first Center Girl of MNL48, I want to leave a mark.”
The announcement came while the group was in the midst of a two-day mall tour for their first single-album “Aitakatta-Gustong Makita“. The new single’s Music Video was reported to have been filmed after the First Philippine Children’s Summit in Quezon City Circle, unsanctioned videos and photos of which have been leaked online.
