Asus Philippines Extends Gpu And Motherboard Warranty
ASUS 4-year Warranty Extension for Graphics Cards and Motherbaords

ASUS Philippines is extending motherboards and graphics cards warrantty by 1-year for all motherboards purchased during January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. This promotion applies to all graphics cards and motherboards currently in-market and sold through authorized dealers within covered date.

The warranty applies only to products bought in the Philippines from authorized distributors so no, your Amazon, Singapore, Taiwan or anywhere-else-bought motherboard and graphics card is not covered. Based on n the timeframe of the promotion, this is not a permanent thing for now but if ASUS feels it helps make customers choose ASUS, then this trial should extend for another year.

That being said, ASUS has had extended warranty products before like the original TUF line which bears a 5-year warranty which does not exist anymore as the TUF Gaming brand only has 3. Industry-wise, motherboards tend to sit at the 2-3 year warranty range with top brands like ASUS, GIGABYTE and MSI all offering at least 3-year warranty coverage for their consumer motherboards. There are regional promotions like this one like GIGABYTE extending their US X670 motherboard warranties to 5 years but not globally.

For graphics cards, ZOTAC leads the pack with a 3+2 year warranty with the 2-year extension awarded after registration. Again, top tier brands have 3-years warranty coverage for all their graphics cards with midfield players dropping that to 2-years.

ASUS is also commiting a faster turnaround time for their motherboard and graphics card warranty with a 5-working day turnaround for repair.

As mentioned, this move is aimed to persuade buyers further by offering a longer warranty, both upholding the value as well as giving more peace of mind for those that want a long-tern investment given ASUS’ pricing position.

This promotion has already begun and is effective as of this writing.
