ASUS has had great success with their GUNDAM collaboration and it seems they really enjoyed that as we will be getting another mecha collaboration this time around based on the main protagonist’s mecha from Hideaki Anno’s 90’s mecha hit: Neon Genesis Evangelion.
No product is teased but seeing how ASUS went ham with their GUNDAM collaboration, they might go crazy with this one again especially with lots of color palette’s to choose from but its easy to expect that ASUS would go for the iconic EVA-01 color scheme followed by the EVA-00 and EVA-02 for another product line though if the teaser art is of any indication, this might be limited to the EVA-01 but we’ll see.
UPDATE: Not even 24 hours later and ASUS ROG has already dropped their first product teaser with an ROG STRIX EVA-01 GPU:

This teaser gives us a clear image of the styling that ASUS is pursuing with this project. Our rep has hinted that this will primarily be an EVA-01 collab and will feature the iconic purple/apple green color scheme (sorry G1 Devastator fans, its primarily purple based on the teaser).
It can be noted that MSI does not have a GPU in their Evangelion Project collaboration so ASUS is being really showy here saying they can sell their most coveted GPU yet still sell niche colors.
UPDATE: ASUS has announced the MAXIMUS Z690 HERO EVA Edition Motherboard
This comes at a time where MSI is also actively promoting their Neon Genesis Evangelion collaboration product. ASUS also has a Demon Slayer collaboration as a China-exclusive promotion while MSI has collaborations with Godzilla.
