Now who said that those who took Medical degrees but has failed to pursue on with the medical field are “wastes”. Apparently not for Dr. Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. Who are more known to be the two founders of Bioware. The company who made epic RPGs such as Baldur’s Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
Kotaku has reported that they will be inducted to the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences’ Hall of Fame in February. The AIAS is considered to be lifetime achievement award for game developers
The two will be the 14th and the 15th inductee into the hall of fame and they will also talk in the upcoming AIAS 2011 Interactive Achievement Awards and the DICE Summit in Las Vegas. They were chosen because their company Bioware has created”emotionally engaging and detailed cinematic games,” for their games such as the list of titles I mentioned above.
I personally think that these two deserve it after creating a company that brought the world truly epic RPGs that a lot of us has invested a lot of time on (you can ask our two female writers here– both of which are big fans of their games).
