Julian Gerighty Heads Development On The Division As New Executive Producer

Ubisoft has announced the appointment of Julian Gerighty as the Executive Producer for The Division Brand. Gerighty is no stranger to the brand, having played a pivotal role in its inception and development. He will assume his new role after the completion of his current project, Star Wars Outlaws, where he is serving as the Creative Director.

A Return to Roots

Gerighty has a deep-rooted connection with The Division, having joined the team as Associate Creative Director in 2014. He was instrumental in the development and success of the original game, released in 2016, under Massive Entertainment – A Ubisoft Studio. He subsequently took on the role of Creative Director for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, leading the team to craft a compelling adventure set in Washington, D.C.

Vision for The Division Brand

In his new role, Gerighty will oversee the development of Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 and other projects within The Division universe, including the mobile game Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence and the survival-action shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland. One of his primary objectives is to assemble a team for the development of Tom Clancy’s The Division 3, under the leadership of Massive Entertainment, while ensuring continued support for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

Gerighty aims to solidify the brand identity of The Division and is committed to maintaining high-quality expressions across all iterations of The Division. He emphasized the importance of delivering cutting-edge visuals and unique gameplay experiences that are synonymous with The Division brand.

Commitment to Current Projects

Julian Gerighty remains dedicated to the success of Star Wars Outlaws and will continue to contribute to the project until its launch, ensuring the realization of the intended creative vision and a superior experience for the players.

A Franchise in its Infancy

Despite boasting over 40 million players, Gerighty believes that The Division is still in the early phases of its development as a franchise. He sees immense potential in exploring new stories, locales, and experiences within The Division universe and is keen on consistently pushing the quality bar forward.

Gerighty expressed his enthusiasm about the future of The Division and highlighted the talent within the Ubisoft development teams working on the brand. He believes that more consistency in development will enhance the overall quality and appeal of The Division projects.

Ubisoft and the teams working on The Division brand are poised for a future filled with innovative and high-quality gaming experiences, with Julian Gerighty at the forefront, steering the brand to new heights.

Excellent writing na lang talaga kulang ng Ubisoft. Ubod ganda at detalyado graphics, pero average gameplay lang, na pwede bawian ng good story
