With Lenovo having previously had exclusive access to AMD’s Threadripper Pro, it seems they are getting really comfortable with AMD as reports are coming in that Lenovo will be collaborating with AMD to create workstations featuring both the AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro CPUs with Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards.

Photos from Chinese social media shows images of LEGION-branded Radeon RX 6900 XT and Radeon RX 6800 XT, complete Legion logo on the backplate and a different cooler than that of the reference Radeon RX 6000 cards.
The design of the cards are very similar to the ones use on the Radeon VII particularly the “R” block on tip but with revised lighting capabilities and a customized LEGION backplate.
It is highly likely that this will be used on Lenovo Legion gaming systems and Lenovo workstations sold by the company but the details aren’t directly stated in the postings. As of this moment, Lenovo has not come out with an official confirmation later.
With AMD still suffering from shortages on much of their products, many are still wondering when they will actually be selling these stocks if ever they do arrive. More on this story as it develops.
