The Paul George signature PG2 sneaker saw the rekindling of Nike and Playstation’s collaborative sneaker releases. The Nike PG2 Playstation was well-received and was followed up by the coveted 2018 edition of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Playstation which was announced side-by-side with a Jordan 1 Xbox Edition which has yet to be released. The OKC Thunder small forward once again receives another collab project for his favorite gaming platform on his PG2.5 line of sneaker with another Playstation release.
The new PlayStation x Nike PG 2.5 will feature a lighter color scheme in contrast to the mostly black gamer collab releases, a callback to the original Playstation theme. George’s new sneaker colorway will feature a white base color with Playstation themed highlights including the face button color scheme with the Nike swoosh dabbed on pink, red, green and blue together with speckled paints on the midsole sporting similar Playstation colors. The tongue features a PG logo on the right shoe and a the Playstation logo on the left. On the heel is Paul George’s name printed on the pull tab in Playstation font. The heel is also textured with the Playstation face buttons. Branded insoles are also thrown in the mix, each again donning the PG and PS logo printed on a galaxy themed background.
The PlayStation x Nike PG 2.5 is expected to drop later in the year and will have a retail price tag of $110.
