More news indicating the imminent launch of Intel’s hybrid-architecture CPU, the first of its kind for mainstream desktop, will soon be arriving as now we receive listings from Amazon Netherlands as reported via VideoCardz.
The listings do not specify a lot of things but do confirm the retail packaging of the Alder Lake-S CPUs we’ve reported earlier. They do have accompanying prices which may not be nice to hear to a lot of especially those that feel Intel really needs to rethink they’re pricing strategy to better position themselves in the current landscape especially in flagship position where they have a core-deficit against AMD.
This is because the Amazon NL listings indicate that the Intel Core i9-12900K is 846EUR inclusive of a 21% VAT. The Core i5-12600K and Core i7-12700K are also listed for 324EUR and 641EUR respectively.
Other regions have also published their listing with Amazon France and UK also posting listings as seen above. If the price are not placeholders, we cannot easily extrapolate the approximate global retail prices for these CPUs once they launch soon.
