Official Ghost of Tsushima PC Release System Requirements

BossMac SubaBy BossMac SubaMarch 7, 2024No Comments3 Mins Read

As the gaming community eagerly awaits the PC release of Ghost of Tsushima, speculation about the system requirements for this highly anticipated title is rampant. Although official PC system requirements have not yet been released by the developers, insights can be inferred from the details of the game’s PC adaptation and relative releases. Curiously enough, Horizon: Forbidden West on PC drops on March 21, with Ghost of Tsushima arriving shortly after at May 16. The two games shares the same pedigree as they are some of PlayStation’s flagship exclusives in their early life, they also share a PS4-compatible nature which really limited their potential for the full next-experience.

Regardless, with both games jumping to PC, it’s exciting times for PC gamers but not so much for those may be packing old-gen hardware if Forbidden West’s PC system requirement is anything to go by. With Ghost of Tsushima using an in-house engine that gives the some of most excellent visuals in backwards-compatible Sony games, its fair to say that it may demand more than its Decima engine counterpart.

With the Director’s Cut, players can anticipate enjoying Ghost of Tsushima with unlocked framerates and a plethora of graphics options catering to a broad spectrum of hardware capabilities. This adaptability ensures that both high-end PCs and portable PC gaming devices can deliver an immersive experience. Ultrawide support, including 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 triple monitor setups, is poised to offer breathtaking panoramic views of the game’s stunning environment.

You can boost your frame rates with NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, or Intel XeSS, or further enhance image quality with NVIDIA DLAA or AMD FSR 3 Native AA.*** The game also features extensive controller support, including full support for the PlayStation DualSense controller with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers

This article has been updated to show the official system requirements as published by the PlayStation Blog.
