As the gaming community eagerly awaits the PC release of Ghost of Tsushima, speculation about the system requirements for this highly anticipated title is rampant. Although official PC system requirements have not yet been released by the developers, insights can be inferred from the details of the game’s PC adaptation and relative releases. Curiously enough, Horizon: Forbidden West on PC drops on March 21, with Ghost of Tsushima arriving shortly after at May 16. The two games shares the same pedigree as they are some of PlayStation’s flagship exclusives in their early life, they also share a PS4-compatible nature which really limited their potential for the full next-experience.
Regardless, with both games jumping to PC, it’s exciting times for PC gamers but not so much for those may be packing old-gen hardware if Forbidden West’s PC system requirement is anything to go by. With Ghost of Tsushima using an in-house engine that gives the some of most excellent visuals in backwards-compatible Sony games, its fair to say that it may demand more than its Decima engine counterpart.
