Conclusion
One of my brand reps told me that they’re fastest moving RTX 40-series card is the RTX 4070 Ti which surprised me as I always felt the RTX 4070 was the most bang for the buck for gaming. While I do see the possible use-cases for 1440p gamer, for the general majority, the jump from RTX 4070 to RTX 4070 Ti just didn’t seem ideal for me. In the case of the RTX 4070 TI SUPER though, its very clear where the value is.
The RTX 4070 TI SUPER offers a nice middle ground between the RTX 4080 SUPER and the RTX 4070, clearing that expansive gap that AMD is happily taking up with the RX 7900 XT. But perhaps its not in gaming that the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is going to get some interest but from the booming generative AI market wherein that large 16GB memory should give it enough flex to deliver performance not too far from the RTX 4080 and RTX 4080 SUPER. I have an AI and GPU compute article coming up covering just this differnce.
Focusing on the ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, its all-metal construction gives it that industrial mecha look and with its new shroud covering more of the heatsink, its really growing a personality than last year. PCHUB currently lists the TUF GAMING RTX 4070 Ti SUPER at PHP58380 for the non-OC version, slightly above NVIDIA PH’s 55,420. If you’re lucky enough to find one for MSRP, then this is easily the best option you can find in the Philippines for an RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. Anyone whos’s adventurous enough for a bios flash can probably gain a bit more from the increased power limit but as it iis, the ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is an excellent answer for enthusiasts seeking to get the most out of their budget at this price range.
ASUS backs the TUF GAMING RTX 4070 Ti with a 3-year warranty. I give it my B2G Recommended Seal.

It’s kinda embarrassing how close the 4070 Super is to this, or sometimes even beats it by a couple FPS. Wonder if they’ll address that in future drivers
It’s really more of a marketing strategy besides anything else. NV has the memory and silicon surplus to spare and they need to make their GPU look newer for average buyers, moms and dads etc. Overall, performance still gets an uplift and anything largely dependent on texture buffer will really see it perform better. We’d definitely get more performance if they unlocked the damn voltages haha
Also they fixed TLOU Part 1 a lot since launch – VRAM usage at 1440p doesn’t exceed 9.3GB for me with all settings maxed out
13%-15% performance gain from 4070 Super. 1k pesos increase sa price diff for each % lol (36k cheapest 4070 super, 49k cheapest 4070 Ti Super)
