NVIDIA did an incredible job managing to bring-out the full potential of the GK110 silicon with the GTX780 Ti but further creds goes to ASUS for bringing it further. We’ve seen the card dominate our charts and there’s no denying its literally the current king of GPUs. Let’s break it down further:
- Performance. ASUS’s GTXÂ 780Ti dominates in all tests, dishing out a respectable lead based on average FPS against the R9 290X.
- Build Quality. Excellent build quality as expected. The cooler does a great job keeping the card cool and the components keeps the card solid in out-of-spec, overclocked scenarios.
- Functionality. At 1080p, the card dominates. Going up to 1440p, the same can be sad. At 4K the card taxes but with a bit of eye candy toned down, we’ve seen the card throw out 60+ FPS on games like Tomb Raider 3 and Battlfield 3. With the next-generation titles just around the corner, this is a good sign of what to arm yourself with come 4K displays.
- Bundle. NO. GAMES. INCLUDED.!. WEAK.
- Value. As stated above, no games included. That’s alright in some instances but not with this one. ASUS is asking for Php57,990 for this card locally (e-tailers list it at USD750) which is already past what the GTX TITAN is going for. You get more gaming performance though and the largest e-peen in your crowd though.
Regardless of price, the ASUS GeForce GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II OC is the top-performing GPU right now, no questions asked. If you’re after excellent out-of-box performance then there is no going anywhere else. The ASUS GeForce GTX 780 Ti DCU2O takes all GPUs out right now, puts them in a body bag and throws them down the river. (Editor’s note: The GTX TITAN BLACK just came out by this posting)
As history proves, having the best comes at a cost. In the case of the ASUS GeForce GTX780Ti DirectCU II, its way above most would spend but to those that want the utmost performance, quality and stability off the box and straight to your rig, there’s just nothing else out there to match.
We will reach out to ASUS for a final statement regarding local pricing so for now, on a purely performance perspective, this is card is the KING.
ASUS backs the  GeForce GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II OC with a 3-year warranty. We award the  ASUS GeForce GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II OC  with our B2G GOLD Award and EDITOR’S CHOICE Award.
