Sapphire Radeon R7 250 2Gb Ddr3 With Boost

Seems like both AMD and NVIDIA are stretching out their existing silicon for another year and with the exception of the R9 290/290X which features brand new Hawaii GPUs. For the most part, this is all about rebrands for AMD and they have ultimately had a very successful run with this scheme. We’ve seen the HD7970 get rebranded as the 280X and the HD7870 as the R9 270X, both received faster clocks and a lower launch price making them a great choice back then. The cryptocurrency rush upset this for a while but seems like prices are stabilizing now.

Today we’ll be looking at the lower end of the spectrum from AMD with their mainstream-oriented, low-power solution: the Oland-based R7 250.

The AMD Radeon R7 250

The R7 250 is based on the Oland XT silicon which is a rebrand of the OEM-only HD8670 card. As with the other R-series cards from AMD, the R7 250 features new dynamic clock system via PowerTune. This means that there is no fixed clocks, just a maximum frequency. The card will vary performance depending on load and temperature. The Radeon R7 250 has a maximum clock rate of 1.05Ghz. Memory clock varies as there are DDR3 and GDDR5 variants of this card.

The Sapphire Radeon R7 250 with Boost

Sapphire has a couple of variant of the Sapphire Radeon R7 250 with Boost available. The specific model we have today is the SKU# (1215-01-20G) or the Sapphire Radeon R7 250 2GB DDR3 with BOOST. The card retains the reference dynamic clock of 1Ghz with PowerTune boosting the card by 50Mhz for a maximum clock of 1050Mhz. This model comes with a hefty 2GB DDR3 memory clocked in at 1800Mhz effective data rate on a 128-bit wide bus. A similar model with GDDR5 memory is also available. The card is cooled by an aluminium heatsink with a black plastic shroud. A single fan does all the cooling duties.

Parehas high-end and optimized for nvidia yang games mo bro. I suggest sticking sa GT730 pero pag ganyan kasi case, best recommendation ko is save until kaya mo na mag-midrange like gtx960 although kung ok lang sayo stick sa rig mo muna GT730 tol oks ka na, low-med sa 720p
