Capcom has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Dai Gyakuten Saiban (Great Ace Attorney) for 3DS and it shows us a few more gameplay footage of what to expect from the title.
Dai Gyakuten Saiban is a spin-off of the original Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) series and the lead character is Phoenix Wright’s (Ryuichi Naruhodo in Japan) ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodo. The game will play much like the most recent title Dual Destinies featuring 3D-anime style characters and will still revolve around the investigation and courtroom sequences. Some of the new features of the Great Ace Attorney will be a jury system similar to one of the previous games (Apollo Justice) but with now enables the player to influence jury decisions via a closing argument. Also new in the game is the inclusion of Joint Reasoning which will see Ryunosuke Naruhodo battling wits with Sherlock Holmes. The game is set around the early Meiji period in 19th century Japan and will feature a more era-appropriate art style.
The game will be released as Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken (大逆転裁判 ‐成歩堂龍ノ介の冒険‐?, “Great Turnabout Trial: The Adventure of Ryūnosuke Naruhodō”) in Japan and is set for launch on July for the Nintendo 3DS.
