GALAX RTX 4070 Anniversary Edition
GALAX is celebrating its 20th anniversary in its largest market, China, with the launch of a special edition GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, the 20th Anniversary Edition. This card joins the earlier announced RTX 4090 20th Anniversary Edition card from GALAX. This card features an all-white design and a unique cooler airflow system. Despite being only 2 slots thick, it boasts a slender aluminum fin-stack heatsink. Two of its three fans are on the front, with the third on the reverse side, creating an effective pull-through cooling mechanism reminiscent of NVIDIA’s dual-axial flow-through design. The card, which uses a single 8-pin PCIe power connector hidden behind a magnetic cover, offers factory overclocked speeds of 2610 MHz, a 5.5% increase over the reference model.
GALAX RTX 4060 Ti Unparalleled MAX
In addition to the RTX 4070, GALAX has also announced the RTX 4060 Ti Max 16 GB Unparalleled Max, the first single-slot RTX 40 series GPU. This graphics card is notable for its exceptionally thin 20 mm profile, making it a perfect fit for smaller cases that can only accommodate a single-slot cooler. The RTX 4060 Ti Max stands out with its vapor chamber cooling system and copper heatsink, diverging from the typical multi-fan setups. It operates at a default clock speed of 2535 MHz with a power target of 165 Watts. The card features a 6+2 VRM setup on a six-layer PCB, allowing for overclocking, though caution is advised due to the compact cooler design.
These releases from GALAX mark a significant development in the graphics card market, offering unique designs and cooling solutions. The 20th Anniversary Edition RTX 4070 and the single-slot RTX 4060 Ti Max demonstrate GALAX’s commitment to innovation in the GPU space, catering to both aesthetic preferences and space constraints in PC builds.
