NeoGAF forum member Hasemo translates the tweet as:
Kitase P here, to report the current status of the development of the PC version of FFXIII LR.
We are currently putting the finishing touches to the game and it will take a bit more time until it’s complete. We should able to release it around December.
I’m terribly sorry for the late release despite saying that the game will be out in Autumn.
We will share more details with you at a later date.
The tweet mentions that Kitase intends to release the game around December. Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns is the conclusion to the Final Fantasy XIII saga continuing the story of Lightning and friends. Final Fantasy XIII was released for PC in 2014 and was followed-up by the release of its direct sequel, Final Fantasy XIII-2. Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns joins Final Fantasy Type-0 HD which is the latest Final Fantasy title to transition to PC.
Here’s hoping Final Fantasy XV eventually arrives on PC also as well as the heavily-anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake.
