Philippine Price for GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 Founder’s Edition

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in both reference variants have an MSRP ofย $599 (27547.41 Philippine Peso) and founders edition for $699 (32150.85 Philippine Peso) . Theย SRP of โ€œregularโ€ GTX 1070 is $379 (17429.83 Philippine Peso) while the SRP for founder’s edition is $450 (20697.97 Philippine Peso). Both GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 are now available in the local market of the Philippines. If you are looking to buy one, here are the price list of each card according to DynaQuestPC, PCHub, and Cebu Appliance Center.

One thing to keep in mind though based on our experience buying components. Straight cash means you pay the product full cold cash. If you plan to buy them via installment or straight card, you might pay for the regular price which is very expensive.

Thank you Philippines government for making everything expensive.

true. if you’re running a GTX 980 Ti, there is simply no reason and no game out right now to go chasing a GTX 1080 unless its your job to create VR games or in our case review content and games.

      For purely gaming, no idea.

Definitely true Back2Gaming. Some consumers need to know what they need. Not just what they want because its the latest and the greatest. For me i just want to play BF4 and upcoming BF1 at a steady 120-144 fps @1080p. A little research would suggest that the 980 ti would still beat the shit out of these games. Not to mention the price drop for the 900 series. I still rock the gtx 970 and even with that card, i can achieve 70-100fps with the current games i play. I also believe the current prices of the 10xx series are not for the traditional consumers. There are people out there who dont even play games who would just like to own the most expensive shit out there. First.

I kinda need either a 1070 or a 1080 because I need to run at a solid 120fps. It is expensive now because there is not enough stocks for the cards. I checked amazon, newegg, etc and they their prices are about 900USD at the moment. Eventually, bababa yan to normal SRP after a few months. Kulang pa kasi sa supply kaya ganya. And still waiting for the RX 480 benchmarks and AMD’s flagship GPU. AMD’s RX 480 is said to be at a GTX 970/980 performance at a frigging price of 199USD! We’ll see.

I hope this next administration follows through with it’s promise to finally do away with corrupt local businesses and lift the economic restriction provision of the constitution. Then they will have no choice but to review our outdated tariff code that has only remained untouched to squeeze money from the people. We’ve given these freaks a chance, and it brought us the genius that is PLDT. It’s time for the Filipinos to be treated as equal with the rest of the world, even just in the availment of goods and services.
